Partying for a Purpose…

The primary goal of this project is to host a yearly fundraiser to benefit The Children’s Breakfast Club, in Toronto. It’s  called music+kids=joy! because a large portion of the donors are organizations in the music industry, whether record labels or event promoters – it’s their sincere way of giving back. However since starting this initiative, donors have also included large corporations and many small businesses in Toronto. They all contribute what they can and pay their generosity forward to a worthy cause.

In 2008, the project raised money for  The Children’s Wish Foundation, in 2009 and 2010, it supported The Children’s Breakfast Club, raising nearly $2000.

Every day, 40 per cent of elementary school children in the GTA go to school without breakfast. That number is outrageous and almost hard to believe in 2010.
