arts & letters host: sp!llage!

23 May

Frankly I’m sick ‘n tired of this weather we’ve been having… And you know that when Doors Open takes place – summer’s supposedly approaching.

So to usher in warmer weather, I’d like to invite everyone to the Arts & Letters Club of Toronto’s SP!LLAGE: 100 Years of Art on Elm – which will take place in the context of Doors Open. This year marks the Arts & Letters Club’s 100th anniversary in Toronto, and its support of the Arts. The street party aims to celebrate their achievements in style, while bridging the Club into to its next hundred years.

It all happens this Sunday, May 25th, 2008, between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Elm Street, which is north of Dundas on the West side of Yonge Street.

What can you expect? A variety of activities… artists, musicians, art installations, parking lot spoken word, musical performances, acrobats & dancers, painting, drawing and sculpture…

So… while you’re out ‘n about this Sunday afternoon wandering through Toronto’s rich architectural history, be sure to to swing by Elm street for some pre-summer festivities…

See you there 😉
